Our Mission

At Harpy Aerospace, we believe space should not be limited by cost or complexity. Our mission is to democratize access to advanced satellite capabilities by providing a modular CubeSat bus ranging from 1U to 27U that supports multiple vertical applications on the same platform. By embedding 40–60 TOPS of onboard AI inference, scalable power systems, and flexible communications (UHF with optional S-band), we reduce dependence on ground control, cut operational costs, and enable autonomous in-orbit decision-making.

Why Harpy Aerospace?

Traditional space missions often require custom satellite builds for every payload. Harpy Aerospace changes this by delivering a standardized, configurable nanosatellite bus where payloads can be plugged in with minimal redesign. This approach offers:

  • Scalability – from 1U tech demos to 27U hosted payloads.
  • Affordability – low SWaP (size, weight, and power) reduces launch costs.
  • Autonomy – onboard AI reduces latency and dependence on ground networks.
  • Resilience – radiation-tolerant design ensures robust operations in LEO constellations.

Ecosystem and Partnerships

Harpy Aerospace actively collaborates with ISRO ecosystem partners, academia, and industry while engaging with international stakeholders in aviation, maritime, and disaster response sectors. Our model emphasizes co-creation, ensuring that customers, researchers, and governments can leverage our platform to meet their mission goals.

Roadmap to the Future

Our near-term milestones include the CubeSat bus v1 flight model and UHF IoT beacon demonstration by 2025. By 2026, we aim to demonstrate edge-AI inference on-orbit with multi-mission 6U platforms. From 2027 to 2030, Harpy Aerospace will scale into operational constellations delivering ISL mesh networking, GNSS-R services, and sovereign IoT connectivity. By 2035, we envision a global hosted payload marketplace supported by Harpy’s multi-band nanosatellite fleet.

What We Build

The Harpy CubeSat bus is a multi-mission nanosatellite platform that integrates:

  • Edge AI compute for real-time image recognition, anomaly detection, and adaptive mission planning.

  • Flexible power systems with scalable solar arrays, smart EPS, and load sharing for payload optimization.

  • Rugged avionics based on radiation-aware components, fault-tolerant RTOS, and industry-standard interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, LVDS).

  • Rapid payload integration, reducing launch readiness time from months to weeks.

Our modular bus architecture supports a wide spectrum of applications:

  • IoT (3GPP NTN) for rural connectivity, agriculture, and logistics.

  • AIS (Automatic Identification System) for maritime safety and monitoring.

  • ADS-B (Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast) for sovereign aviation surveillance.

  • GNSS-R/RO (Global Navigation Satellite System – Reflectometry & Radio Occultation) for climate, ocean, and weather insights.

  • RTK-PPP (Real-Time Kinematic – Precise Point Positioning) for centimeter-level NAVIC accuracy.

  • Inter-Satellite Link (ISL) mesh networking for disaster relief and defense communication.

Our Identity

As a next-generation Indian startup with global ambition, Harpy Aerospace reflects the spirit of innovation, resilience, and accessibility. We are not just building satellites; we are building an ecosystem for intelligent, autonomous space infrastructure that serves people, industries, and nations.
